Miller will preach in the First Presbyterian church next Sunday at 3 P. M. Mrs. Eettie Hartsell died last Sun day afternoon after a short illness lasting only a few days. Mrs. Hart sell was the mother five boys and three girls, namely, W. C. Hartsell, Milton, Oscar, John and Hampton Hartsell; Mrs. Ila Smith, Mrs. Nettij Poplin and Mrs. Frances Sasser. All are living. The deceased was 7 years of age. She has several broth ers and sisters living; one in Chicago, one in High Point, and one in Vir ginia. The remains were laid to rest in Big Lick cemetery Monday in the presence of a large gathering of soi the feasibility of establishing village delivery there. Mr. Doughton is ever alert in look ing after the needs of his district, and his work for Albemarle is but a sam ple of what he is trying to do through out the Eighth district. He assures the postmaster here that it is a great pleasure for him to serve the good people of Albemarle and Stanly coun ty. Our people should, and we believe they do, fully appreciate what Con gressman Doughton is doing for us.
